Bespoke Kitchen Carcasses

Basically Trade supplies made-to-measure and standard-sized kitchen carcasses.

Here at Basically Trade we specialize in manufacturing  bespoke kitchen units to the exact dimensions and specifications your request unlike many standard sized carcasses companies. Our service is truly Bespoke.

Our kitchen cabinets are colour coded to match the chosen doors so your project looks perfectly finished, inside and out. We use Blum fittings as standard, which come with a lifetime guarantee. We offer colour-coded ABS edging tapes on all front edges (.45mm and 2mm) to match the carcass colour and door colour.

For quick and simple fitting, all kitchen base units have adjustable height legs and wall units are fitted with adjustable hanging brackets (with wall mounting plates supplied).Colour co-ordinated plinths are available in 2.4m lengths (min). A service gap of 60mm is provided at the back of the base units and a 20mm gap for wall units. Base units are 570mm deep and wall units 300mm deep. Full gables are available on request. 

In order to save time when it comes to installation, we supply all kitchen units, drawer units and wall units fully assembled using Rafix fix cam and dowel construction, reducing downtime for you on site. We also offer a wirework and pull out installation service if required.

For High end projects, we now offer the following:

18mm Birch Plywood cabinets are Rafix cam and dowel as standard. These carcasses come hand sanded with the choice of plugged and unplugged where required. We can also offer these Veneered in Crown cut European Oak & Ash ready for you to finish.

18mm Veneered cabinets are re Rafix cam and dowel as standard with an MDF sanded substrate supplied in Crown cut Euro Oak, Crown Cut Ash, Walnut, Cherry, Steamed Beech, White Beech, Maple and Sapelle. All hand sanded ready for you to finish. (Please note that due to the real nature of veneers colour may vary.)

For high end projects we also offer clear-lacquered, solid timber dovetailed drawer boxes. These can complement any kitchen in timbers such as Oak, Walnut, Beech and Maple. What's more, we can even provide matching cutlery inserts for particularly discerning customers!
